  1. Very nice year list! We didn’t start one until this year, but figuring the numbers of 2011, we saw 106 birds. (Identifiable) We didn’t begin active birding until the spring, so I am eager to see how we do this year.

    I think it is wonderful whenever I find a young person who is into birding. Our ten-year old caught the birding bug first, needing to know every species that came to his homemade feeder. That was some years ago. And it grew from there and now all of us enjoy learning about the birds.
