Thank you each so very much!

Your support will be greatly appreciated, not just by me but also by the conservation groups receiving the funds I raise — the Calgary Bird Banding Society and Bird Studies Canada.

I’m very excited to announced that through online and offline donations, I’ve exceeded my goal of $1,250. To date, I’ve raised $1,375! I’m so glad to have reached my goal, and I still have more than a month until my Birdathon.

This year, I’ve earmarked the funds I raise go the Beaverhill Bird Observatory near Tofield, Alberta, and Bird Studies Canada.

Again, thank you all so very much for your kind and generous support of the Birdathon, which goes to support bird conservation.

Another Baillie Birdathon Thank You

I would like to say thank you again for everyone who has supported me so far in this year’s Baillie Birdathon. I am at $935 now, well past my original goal of $500 — I picked my goal amount because it seemed better to choose a modest amount. I had no idea people would be so supportive and generous, especially for a second year.

I would like to thank the following recent donors: my aunt Kerri in Toronto, Angela, and Leslie. And another special thank you to Curtis and Michelle for their extra encouragement.

Also, I saw this yesterday at the Baillie Birdathon website and am amazed to be in the top 10 — I know it won’t last, because I am just one 15-year-old in rural western Canada, but it shows me how much support the Birdathon and its goals have. Thank you all, so very much!

Thank You!

I would like to offer an enormous thank you to Dave at Island Nature, Janice, Jaynne and Lu at the Wild Bird General Store in Edmonton, Pat and Bird Canada, Jody at Bird Studies Canada, Bob, my good friend from the Edmonton Nature Club, for their amazing generosity and support in helping me reach 49 percent of my goal for the Baillie Birdathon. I am amazed to be almost halfway to my goal a month and a half out from the Birdathon. Thank you all so very much!

If you would like to help me reach the rest of my goal, you can visit my team page. Your support will be greatly appreciated, not just by me but by the groups receiving my funds — Bird Studies Canada and my local naturalist society, to support local programs and speakers.

Thank you!
